James and Zach revisit last weeks game debut “Jacob’s Ladder” and then go a round of “28 Words Later” featuring only films from 1992.
James and Zach lie right in each others faces in a game of Movie Bluff, then it’s a rare victory for one of them as they close the show with a go of 28 Words Later.
Welcome to another Friday Games Edition of the Cinereelists in which the guys revisit one of last week’s new rapid-fire games Outta Time and close out the show with the OG CRL showdown 28 Words Later.
It’s been too long since we’ve had a guest on the show to play some movie games, so we rectified that this week by bringing Keane back to play some games, including the new game, Plot Holes. A quick rundown on how the game works: someone thinks of a movie, the next person has to come up with another movie that shares some similar plot element. The person after that has to come up with another movie that shares a different plot element with the most recently-named film. And so on. See how we did in episode #39…
Zach and James are joined by special guest Keane as the Cinereelists attempt to define what exactly a movie “gadget” is, then run through their Top 5 Coolest Movie Gadgets. Much arguing and more than a few surprises to be had in this one!
James & Zach play an extended game of Last Man Standing, then end the show with a speed-round of 28 Words Later – all from Site B!
Zach and James solidify the rules of Last Man Standing (aka will James ever earn a letter?) and attempt to get back in the groove with an old favorite during a limp round of 28 Words Later.
In this episode we rename our new Friday Fun show to Freaky Friday, Zach gives it the old Junior College try at memorizing the films of Alfred Hitchcock, and we play a middling game of 28 Words Later (formerly 30 Words).
